Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

UPS HAS ALMOST trebled the size of its London-based green leet after taking delivery of 14 Modec electric vehicles (see picture).

Twelve of the new vehicles will join the existing six electric vehicles based at Camden, while the remaining two will operate out of UPS’ Barking depot. The batterypowered vehicles, which can each undertake 60 miles on a six-hour charge, form a key part of the UPS leet that will be used for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games.

Cindy Miller, MD of UPS UK, Ireland and Nordics, says: “We have invested in technological improvements, allowing us to expand our electric leet, such as installing extra charging units at our London facilities.” ● See CM next week for a roundup of the electric CVs available and what is coming to the market in the next two years.
