A new Foden Alpha 18-tonne 4x2 has been enlisted to make regular collections of humanitarian aid for a leading children's charity. The vehicle will make collections for Children's Aid Direct from corporate customers and private groups across the UK, and will be based at the charity's central warehouse in Reading. Children's Aid Direct spokesman Richard Finch is thrilled with this latest addition: "The Foden is superb, and after six months on the road it has proved to be reliable and is the only vehicle we have had that has not suffered from any form of mechanical breakdown during this initial period."
