Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

British Steel at Scunthorpe says it is reviewing 100,000 tonnes a year of steel section road haulage to Trent Wharf at Flixborough which it may switch to rail because of the awkwardness of loads.

But this work makes up only around 5% of a total 40,000 tonnes of weekly road haulage work from the plant, says the company. Rates for the seven steel hauliers working out of Scunthorpe stand at around £146-£148 for 40 hours worked in a 38-tanner, according to the URTU.
