• Gems/Clearway is offering a new range of Italian-made Slide Back recovery body systems for chassis from five to 17 tonnes gross. The bodies, made by Omars of Cuneo, have 3.5 or 5.0tonne capacities and can be self-fitted or built on to a chassis by CeeJay Systems of Alresford, Hants.
The systems add 1.75-3.0 tonnes depending on type of
winch used and final specification. Body systems are contained within a subframe and attach to a truck chassis by standard body mounts making for easier exchanges between chassis.
Prices start at £7,250 and options include a second car spectacle lift, fold-away crane and hydraulically operated foldflat second deck.
