Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I feel I must air my views against bus/lorry drivers. I have been driving both twoand four-wheelers for some six years.

I agree with A. Temple, of Ryton, that not all bus drivers are a menace on the roads. But in my opinion, here in the loM, and from what I have seen on my recent trips to the UK, lorry drivers are far more courteous than bus drivers.

On the other hand, I have to disagree with H. Gray's statement about making van deliveries to shops before 8 am I have been a self-employed delivery man for'! 8 months now and (excluding newsagents) I have yet to find any of my customers opening before at least 8.30 am. I don't know what hours your shopkeepers have, Mr Gray.

I agree your drivers perform a difficult job, but when I deliver a gas bottle with a gross weight of over 2001b, I like to get as close as I can to the place where it is to be delivered.

I think it's about time people heard it from a van driver's point of view.

CHRIS BEAUMONT, Isle of Man.
