Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Permit me, a low type psv driver, to answer Messrs Larman and McKay (CM, November 25). Gentlemen, I have worked on both sides, hgv and psv and, believe me, I prefer bus drivers any day.

While lorry driving all over the country and staying in various digs. I've heard the hgv boys bragging about how they put a so-and-so motorist off the road, or through a hedge, or how far their bumper was from the motor in front.

But the psv drivers don't talk like that; we have a responsibility for the safety of our passengers.

The trouble with all drivers today is that no-one will give way. As well as holding my licences, gentlemen, I have six safe-driving awards issued by RoSPA House in London, and have passed two advanced driving tests. I will back my driving ability and road sense against any other drivers in the country.

As regards dress, most psv drivers have a uniform or a smart blazer and flannels. All the hgv lads have is trousers and vest, which give them the "hard man look."
