Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AAs the name implies, the use to which a limited trade licence can be put is severely restricted as is laid down in Regulation 40 and

41 of the Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) Regulations, 1964, No. 1178, obtainable from NM Stationery Office.

Included in Regulation 41, section (h) permits towing of another vehicle from the place from where it has broken down to a place for repair or storage. This, however, presupposes that the vehicle which had broken down was previously proceeding under a licence of some category. A limited trade plate is for use in connection with the movement of an unlicensed vehicle itself and not for the towing of such a vehicle.
