j N a recent address to the Dutch • 1 Royal Society of Mechanical Engineers, Mr. E. W. Nicholls, B.Sc.. chief development engineer of C.A.V.. Ltd..• said that spectacular developments in fuel injection . were not to be expected. but he stressed the importance of the problems involved.
In another lecture at Delft University, he discussed the qualities looked for in young 'engineers.. His advice to, them was to maintain a firm grasp of principles and not to concentrate too much on acquiring a superficial technique.
