This forthcoming review was indicated in the Fairness at Work White Paper and will form part of a package of measures to update the current regulations, which are to be outlined in a consultation document later this year. Other issues to be covered include the: • need to ensure proper standards on reference checking; • rules requiring agencies to pay workers promptly and fully; and • obligation on agencies holding clients' money to safeguard it properly.
