in Milton Keynes, which is being used exclusively for a contract with Coca Cola and Cadbury Schweppes.
Under the contract, Kammac will collect products from the two companies' production plant and store and prepare them for distribution around the north of the country.
Karnmac's David Griffiths says the contract will involve the movement and storage of 10,000 to 12,000 pallets of Coca Cola and 60 to 70 lorry loads of Cadbury Schweppes products a week. The contract is expected to add around 2200,000 to Kammac's monthly turnover.
The company plans to use around 40 trucks on the contract, with other vehicles bought in on subcontract work for peak periods.
The contract between Coca Cola/Cadbury Schweppes and Karnmac is one part of a rationalisation process being undertaken by the food companies under which a number of small warehouses have been replaced by seven large regional warehouses.
