DATAPOST, the Royal Mail's high-speed courier delivery service, has expanded its service to Denmark and Austria.

The service to Austria and Denmark allows documents, business papers and goods to be sent to addresses in Vienna and Copenhagen.

Delivery to Austria is by next working day for documents, business papers and second working day for documents and of both goods and papers to Denmark is the next working day. Charges are £11.50 for the first 2kg and then £1.30 for each additional 1/4kg up to a maximum of 15kg.

Datapost is designed for speeding business documents and other urgent items, from specialist tools to blood specimens. It is available on contract pick-up or over the counter at some 1,600 main post offices and 1,000 selected subpost offices in England, Scotland and wales. There are also services to and from Northern Ireland for contract holders.
