A differential cylinder pressure tester which will help to reduce the likelihood of sudden failure on all engines and plant, has been ntroduced by Van Dusen Aircraft Supplies.
The E2 model, will enable mechanics to locate worn or cracked rings, defective intake or exhaust valves, scored or cracked cylinders, leaky head gaskets, worn or stripped plug bushings and any other fault which may commonly result in an engine failing without warning or working below normal capacity by measuring leakage through the cylinders caused by worn or damaged components.
