Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Mascot Coaches of Norwich — one of the companies owned by Votier Holdings Ltd — has bought the goodwill of Carley Motors Ltd, of Fakenham. Norfolk, together with one of its fleet of 12 coaches.

Mr Leonard Votier. of Mascot Coaches, said: "We are retaining a small garage at Carley's premises and an office in the showroom. We specialize in Continental holidays and what we are attempting to do is to offer a Continental service from Fakenham to connect with our Norwich holiday service."

Mascot Coaches are continuing the private hire work in Fakenham area previously carried out by Carley. Mr Votier said his firm would be adding more vehicles to the general fleet next year. Five full-time drivers have been made redundant but one or two have been offered jobs by the new owners.

The transfer means that the name of Carley Coaches, well known throughout East Anglia ‘'ill disappear from the coaches, Carley Motors Ltd was formed in 1962 with Bob Carley, who had originally started the business in 1948, as chairman.
