• The National Freight Corporationis reorganizing and merging the services and functions at present being provided by Containerway Europe Ltd, Pickfords Shipping and Forwarding Co Ltd and Road-Air Cargo Express (International) Ltd into one company -Pickfords International Ltd.
The new company has access to the total resources of the NFC and will offer full intermodal systems to trade and industry in Great Britain to enable it to compete abroad.
Pickfords International has, says the NFC. a full consultancy and marketing intelligence service on all aspects of distribution in the European Common Market and the company is in a position to provide full distribution facilities for manufacturers and trading companies wishing to serve the European Market.
