committee has accepted the offer of Guy Motors Ltd. to extend its tender to cover the supply of three new double-decker bus chassis at a cost of £8,630, and the offer of Massey Bros. (Pemberton) Ltd. to extend its tender to cover three double-deck bus bodies at a total cost of £10,482. The committee has also accepted Massey Bros. tender for the supply of a single-deck bus body for £2,956. Coaches for Handicapped : The London Borough of Islington welfare committee is to invite quotations for the supply of a coach suitably adapted to carry handicapped persons at an estimated cost of £4,000, whilst Tynemouth welfare committee is to invite tenders for a Bedford VAS passenger chassis to be fitted with similarly adapted coachwork.
