AEC In Portugal Reach Om.: New orders received from Portugal by AEC Ltd. bring the total from this country in 1963 to Om. The latest contracts call for 115 buscs and coaches and 96 trucks and tractive units. The buses will all be Reliances, comprising 88 chassis sets for inclusion in integral buses to be built by UTIC, and 27 orthodox chassis. The largest of the truck orders is for 55 Mammoth Major 6 x 4 heavy haulage units powered by AV760 diesel engines.

Semi-Trailers from Stock: Crane Fruehauf Trailers Ltd. have opened an additional bay of nearly 20,000 sq. ft. for the assembly of Vanguard vans, containers, and insulated refrigerated and open-top vans at their North Walsham factory. Ltd., Bombay. had to be delivered in India by the end of December to beat a financial deadline on foreign exchange spending for 1965, Night and week-end work was necessary.
