Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

EMBERS of Reading Corporation transport committee have recommended that discussions should be resumed with Thames Valley Traction Co. Ltd. with a view to further co-ordination between the two undertakings.

The proposal was made after considering comments by the chairman of the South Eastern Traffic Commissioners at the recent sitting when the Corporation's application for fares increases was granted. He expressed the hope that the two undertakings would engage in more co-ordination.

At present only one joint service is operated—from Reading stations to Long Lane, Tilehurst.
