Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DICTURED above last week, on the first day of East Yorkshire Motor Services' rail-replacement service between York and Hull via Market Weighton arid Pocklington, this recently delivered AEC Renown had to contend with heavy snow.

Running thrice daily in each direction, buses on the new service kept to time despite the weather and coped very smoothly with the passenger traffic displaced by the rail closure.

At mid-week some of the double-deckers were replaced by new 49-seat single-deckers.
