AN articulated outfit, consisting of a Bedford tractor and a Taskers semi-trailer, is setting out from Britain on a 20,000-mile tour of America and Canada to sell British confectionery to the dollar market. The body has been built in mock Tudor style by Smith's Electric Vehicles, Ltd., to appeal to American and Canadian buyers. The vehicle was displayed in London on Tuesday.

Equipment includes a refrigerator to provide cold beer and iced cocktails, an electric coffee percolator and an electric kettle. Warm air from a combustion heater is circulated around the showroom.

The semi-trailer body, which was deigned by Mr. Kenneth Horner, houses an office and a showroom in which the products of George Horner and Co., Ltd., are displayed. Showcases reach to the roof. Waist-high cupboards accommodate stocks and equipment. Two hatches can be opened to make service counters.

The office, which is situated in the raised portion over the turntable, contains a desk, chair, settee and a cocktail cabinet. An all-waveband Pye radio is installed, with three separate speakers.

The outfit is 33 ft. long, 7 ft. 6 in.
