Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Weight and height

• The Freight Transport Association has published a guide to goods vehicle weights and dimensions in the UK. It has photographs, diagrams and details of British representation overseas. Produced in conjunction with Leyland Daf, the leaflet is free of charge on written request.

Write to Jayne Wickendon, FTA, Hermes House, St John's Road, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN4 9UZ.

Hazgoods afloat

• Meanwhile the FT.ks Hazardous Cargo division has produced a guide to help shippers of dangerous goods cope with changes in documentation brought about by the implementation of the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (Amendment 27).

The guide, brought out in association with SITPRO (the board for simpler trade procedures), sets out step-bystep instructions on how to fill in a dangerous goods note and includes a specimen document.

For a copy contact the FTAs Hazardous Goods Cargo Services on (01892) 352257.
