• Putzmeister Pumps of Chesterfield has chosen a Leyland Daf 10-tonne Roadrunner chassis for its new lightweight truck-mounted concrete pump, the CP40 City Pump.
One of the new pumps has recently gone into service with ready-mixed-concrete specialist, Winmix of Hyde, Cheshire, where it joins a fleet of mixerbodied Constructors and Freighters. Recommended extras fitted to the 3.65m Roadrunner 10.13s include a fixed engine cooling fan, a brake air dryer and a combined tachometer and hour meter. The chassis features a heavy-duty anti-roll suspension to provide increased stability while the booms are extended.
