The braking performance of truck tyres seems to have received less attention than durability, and car tyres have, in typical cases, forged ahead in braking capability. In next week's issue Paul Brockington examines recent research into the performance factors of commercial vehicle tyres and looks at future possibilities.
The local government reorganization will bring a major upheaval in passenger transport. Martin Hayes has been talking over some of the changes with NBC executives, and reports in the August 1 7 issue.
