OLLOWING comments made in our I road-test report of the AustinMinatic 7-cwt. articulated vehicle, published on March 27, in which the relatively low mounting of the coupling ball was criticized, it is understood that this location has been modified so that there is now a minimum clearance of 6 in. when the Minatic is used with a Mini pick-up, and 3.5 in. when used behind a Minor 1000 pick-up. Another modification resulting from the test report is that the wing mirrors are now mounted on extension arms to give a wider field of rear-view vision, whilst an on/off switch for the rear indicators is currently also being incorporated.
