Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A NEW factory at Amersfoort, Hott'k land, has been built by J. J. Molenaar's Automobielbedrijf, N.V., and it is at present devoted to the assembly of Nuffield cars and commercial vehicles. The project was financed from private resources and no outside or foreign capital was attracted. Complete independence was thus achieved and the company state that other makes of vehicle may be produced in the future.

Approximately 250 men are employed at the factory, which has a potential" output of 3,000 vehicles a year. Exports will be made to Belgium, Germany, France and Algiers.

DIVERSION AT ANDOVER

nURING June and July, Winchester 1..." Street and Bridge Street, Andover, will be undergoing extensive reconstruction. Winchester Street will he closed from June 8 to July 25, and, Bridge Street willbe closed from July 6-25, and restricted from July 25 to October 3.

Alternative routes avoiding the town will be sign-posted, but in one case a local diversion in Andover itself will he necessary because of a 13-ft. high bridge between Ludgershall and Basingstoke. Public service vehicles not calling at the town are asked to avoid it.

TIMBER CARRIED LEGALLY

A CHARGE against John Milne Ellice, 23 Station Avenue, Alloa, of having carried goods for hire or reward in a C-licence vehicle was withdrawn at Stirling Court. He was alleged to have carried a load of timber from Plean to Alloa.

It was stated that t! a timber had been processed to the extent of having the branches lopped off and, in the circumstances, Ellice was legally carrying goods which had been processed by him.

NEW LIGHT-ALLOY BUILDINGS DVANTAGES of standardization

and unit construction are, it is claimed, not affected by limitations upon choice of sizes of building with the new light-alloy structures made by Chamberlain Industries, Ltd., London, E.10. Buildings can be constructed with spans from 30-56 ft. and wall heights from 1245 ft. Lengths are in multiples of 10 ft., with bays at the end to make tip any required size.

BUSES LATE: PAY LOST

THE Industrial Disputes Tribunal have ruled that A. V. Roe and Co.. Ltd., Langar, Notts, are entitled to make deductions from the pay of workers who arrive late because of delays in transport.
