MR. E. H. BURN has been elected chairman of the Manchester centre of the Institute of Traffic Administration. The vice-chairman is now MR. R. WILDE. Ma. T. JACKSON has become chairman of the Preston centre and Ma. A. BRACESIRDLE vice-chairman.

Ma. J. T. RYMER has been appointed managing director of Sentinel (Shrewsbury), Ltd. Until recently he was managing director of Mirrlees, Bickerton and Day, Ltd., and a director or Associated British Oil Engines, Ltd., and other concerns.
