a new £50,000 roads depot at Eaglesfield to replace the Eastriggs plant.

Garage space is provided for 12 lorries, two tractive units, an excavator and utility vans. Doors of a specially patented folding mechanism form the walls on each side of the depot. Each bay has a door, which enables a driver to move his vehicle into the depot through his own door and out again at any time without other vehicles being moved.
