DURING 1960 the vehicle production of Leyland Motors, Ltd., increased by more than one-fifth compared with the previous year, whilst engine production rose by 40 per cent. A considerable increase in overseas siles is reported, and goods and passenger vehicles were
shipped to more than 50 overseas territories, Total export sates of all vehicles rose by 30 per cent., goods-vehicle sales increasing by over 16 per cent., whilst passenger-vehicle sales rose by nearly 60 per cent.
