• A Freight Transport Association survey reveals that almost 60% of artic operators said they would take advantage of the 16.5m length limit and 15% of drawbar operators are considering moving to artics. However, the introduction of
the 16.5m artic limit has been put back until the middle of February at the earliest, because of legislative delays.
The Dip has made a number of important concessions on the length limits; see page 10.
