• Formed in 1987, Channel Commercials supports operators throughout Kent and East Sussex ‘4a its Ashford headquarters and satellite workshops in Canterbury, Strood and Sevenoaks.
The group employs over 70 skilled tradesmen; of these, 30 are based at its main workshop in Ashford which runs triple shifts every 24 hours, from 6am Monday to 4pm Saturday.
It also has a fabrication department speciafising in painting, signwriting and shot blasting. Within this department lies Channel Fabrication Services. Managed by Bill Fowler, it carries out a wide range of specialist conversion work on fuel tankers plus wet kit, cat-walk, roof beacons, CCTV and tail-ifft cable kit fitments.
