• ESAB has launched two welding machines aimed at those wanting simplicity of operation in a portable package.

Origolig 150 is, surprisingly, designed for lig welding mild steel, stainless steel and other weldable metals in thicknesses from 0.5mm to 5mm. It can also be used for MMA welding, For those who do not require Tig welding capability there is the second model, the OrigoArc 150, which is suitable for use with alloyed and non-alloyed steel, stanless steel and cast iron. The OrigoArc 150 can be used with electrodes up to 3.25mm in diameter.

Both models come with ESAB's inverter technology and Arc Plus, which, the company claims, ensures easy starting and improves weld quality Suitable for use both indoors and outdoors, the machines operate from a singlephase 230V power supply and can be used with long mains leads for use away from the power supply.
