Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Only Parade Award for Owners: a "Team" Prize for Annual Competition.

The handsome silver cup, which has been presented to the Commercial Motor Users' Association by the proprietors of THF; COMMERCIAL MOTOR, far award in connection with each annual parade in London, promises to give rise to keen rivalry between sonic of the leading owners of commercial-motor vehicles and tractors. The cup will be held by tile owner of the successful " team,'' who will also receive a suitable certificate in relation thereto, whilst the driver of each machine in the winning " team " will he given a medal as a souvenir of the event. The C.M.U.A. undertakes the provision of the incidental awards. it should be noted that, whilst new machines are not barred, they will be judged with regard to the points set down in condition No. 10 hereureler.

Conditions for 1910.

L—Any "team " of six vehicles or six tractors, or of six machines of mixed types and load capacities, is eligible, ff.—Entries uthat be addressed to the Secretary, Commercial Motor Users' Association, Caxton Howie, Westminster, SW., on or before the 14th May, 1910. There is no entrance fee.

111.—Entrants, who shall be the bona-fsle owners of -the machines entered by them, shall state in their letters of entry: (a) The make, horse-power, type of body, date of ilelivery, normal load capacity, and approximate total mileage for each machine in the " team " Eron, date of purchase to the 30th April, 1910.

(b) The names and addresses of the six drivers who will parade ;

(e) Their willingness to abide by these conditions. and to accept as ''final the award of the judges.

No special entry form is required.

" team " will be judged, unless it be in position at Lincoln's Inn Fields, W.C., by three o'clock precisely on

Saturday, -.1st May. No machine will be dismissed beforefive o'clock, but the Parade may not conclude that early.

V.—Trailers may be drawn, at the discretion of the entrants ; if drawn, their appearance and condition will betaken into account.

VI. -The mileage minimum {4,800 miles at the 31st March, 1910) and the minimum period of use (one year at the 31st March, 1910), which are stipulated for the individual sections of the Parade, shall not apply to the " team " section.

Vu—Any vehicle or tractor which is admitted in the individual sections of the Parade can also be entered as part of a "team," and a " team " may be partly or wholly made lip of machines which are barred from the individual sections of the Parade through non-compliance with the mileage and age limits.

V111.—There will he no examination of the drivers, except in the cases of men who are also entered in the ordinary sections of the Parade.

IN.—No entry from a motor manufacturer will be accepted, except in respect of vehicles which have been used upon contract or hiring work, for bona-fide customers, for at least three months. Demonstration vehicles are not eligible for entry.

X.—The cup will be awarded to the entrant whose " team," in the opinion of the judges Committee, presents the smartest appearance having regard to the class of work upon which the units are employed, the ages of the machines, and and the total distances run by them. It will subsequently be delivered to the holder for the year, on the due completion by him of undertakings for its safe custody, its insurance against loss by burglary or fire to a value of £30, and its return to the Association in May, 1911,
