NEW SHORTS
▪ The Freight Transport Association is introducing new topics for its short courses, which include core management skills, depot safety and food safety.
Courses can be customised to suit individual companies, and can be held in-house or at the ETA's residential centre_ Contact (0892) 26171.
MANAGER MANAGEMENT
• A management development workshop will held by Bus and Coach Training at Kenilworth, Warwickshire during March.
It is aimed at management trainees or potential managers and concentrates on self presentation, including negotiating skills, assertiveness, decision making, problem solving and team building.
The workshop will be in two blocks on 11-12 March and 2526 March, after which tutors will visit the participant firms to outline action plans.
It costs 545 (ex-VAT), including lunch, refreshments and literature.
