Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A STUDY of the haulage industry's requirements in the heavy weight articulated vehicle sector has been given final approval by the Road Haulage Association.

CV Marketing Support Ltd, which last year carried out a similar survey for tipper operators, is to investigate how well current vehicles meet operators' needs and what effects an increase in permitted gross weight might have.

Four hundred operators are to take part in the survey between now and the end of next month.

It is not yet certain when the study will be completed, but an RHA spokesman suggested that it ought to be ready by the end of May.

Several chassis, engine, trailer, drivetrain, and other component manufacturers have agreed to participate in the study.
