NEARLY 400 litres of diesel were spilled on an Isle of Wight road last week after a truck and a bus punctured their fuel tanks while passing through roadworks.
The incident, which occurred on the A3055 at Brading, is being investigated by Hampshire Police.
As a result of the spillage, the road became so slippery that there were a high number of collisions.
