Monoconstruction is employed for the hull of the vehicle to make it watertight up to the level of the top of the tracks. This is to allow for sinkage in soft ground. although, as the vehicle exerts a ground pressure of less than 1 this provision should not often be held an important factor.
The tractor has a maximum speed of 25 m.p.h., a turning radius of 15 ft., and is 11 ft. 8 in. long, 7 ft. 3 in. wide and 5 ft. 8 in. high. Passenger versions are also available, whilst there is a loadcarrying Muskeg for payloads of up to 7.1 tons.
