It has a lift of 11 ft. 6 in. and a collapsed height of 8 ft. 10 in. The price of either a batteryelectric with a 121-amp.-hr. battery or a mains-electric with 3-ft. forks is £433.

This concern is also manufacturing a lifting table capable of raising 2 tons to a height of 4 ft. 23,in. It consists of a robust base frame and a scissors linkage on which the flat-topped lifting surface is mounted. The scissors are actuated hydraulically, power being provided by a five-cylindered hydraulic pump driven by a J-h.p. electric motor. The table is provided with wheels and a towing device, but may be used as a fixed installation if required. It costs £554.

Injector Extractor DUE to corrosion or carbon build-up it is often difficult to remove fuel injectors which have been in position for long periods. To hasten this operation whilst eliminating the risk of damage. Abco, 39 Eastern Green Road, Coventry, have produced an injector extractor which, by means of suitable fittings, can cope with virtually any injector.

Thixotropic Rust Remover TWO additions to the range of chemical compounds manufactured by Douglas Holt (Est. 1919), Ltd., New Addington, Surrey, are a thixotropic (stable) rust remover paste and a radiator flushing powder. The rust remover comes in a polythene dispenser and is applied direct from the container to the metal to be treated. It does not run, drip or spread and is, therefore, easy to use on horizontal and vertical surfaces. If correctly applied it is said to provide an ideal surface for painting whilst rustproofing the material. It is supplied in 4 ft_ oz. and 13 fl. oz. sizes which cost 3s. and 6s, 6d. respectively.

The radiator cleanser is known as Speedflush. Costing 4s. for a 13 oz. tin, capable of treating a 5-gal.-capacity cooling system, it is said to remove grease, oil and sludge from the water passages.

Modified Lamps

THE 125 Micromatic range of fog and

driving lamps made by the Notek Electric Co., Ltd., Bromley, Kent, is reduced in price from £3 14s. to £3 91. The Micromatic series includes the Nearlite fog lamp and the Farlite driving lamp. The outer rims for these lamps are now made from stainless steel.
