D EGISTRATIONS of new commercial vehicles in July were the highest for the year at 24,299, the previous best being in January, when 24,175 vehicles went on the roads for the first time. The total for the first seven months of the year at 159,040 compares with 145,779 during the relative period of 1958. Details appear in an accompanying table.
