Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

a letter from Edric Goulding of Gouldings of Nallsworth. He and his family have been reading Commercial Motor since 1919 and the Hawk wonders whether this is a record. But as we started in 1905, maybe someone or some firm out there has been reading the magazine for more than 70 years. If you can break Gouldings record we want to hear from you.

In fact with 1992 an' all that drawing nigh it might be fun to take a less-than-serious overview of the road haulage industry. Who has the biggest fleet? The oldest working wagon — or driver?

Who has the most northerly and southerly (et cetera) bases? Who is been in the business longest? Drop me a line, all you contenders, and you might see your photo in the Hawk's Christmas records page.

Remember, if there's something out of the ordinary about you, your firm, vehicles or operation, the Hawk wants to hear from you.
