Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Our man in the North pursues his hobby of picking up psv books, particularly historical ones, and recently came across First Bus in Yorkshire written by Philip Lingard. This traces the history of Ezra Laycock of Cowling who commenced business during the 1880s and started with a Milnes Daimler

bus in 1905, which ran between Cowling and Kildwick.

Later in the book there is a story of a Leyland Tiger T8S7 FV 5734 bought from Ribble when it was already 26 years old, although it was rebodied by Duple in 1950, but was one of those fitted with a Leyland E181 engine from WW Matilda Tank; a similar vehicle went to Progress Motors of Chorley which lasted until • 1973. It was thus in service for 38 years and would have covered around about two and a quarter million miles, which must be a record of some sort. (Mr Guinness please note.)
