April: Derbyshire firm Milltech Haulage saw six of its 14-strong fleet written off, along with the cargo the trailers were carrying, after being torched at the company yard in the early hours of
Friday, 8 April. Owner Greg Dukes offers a £1,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators.
May: A fire sweeps through a
row of five parked trucks at the yard of north Wales haulage operator PTR Services in the early morning of 8 May. Three of the vehicles received 100% damage and two suffered 50% damage.
