• A course leading to a new qualification for fleet managers has been launched by the Institute of the Motor Industry. Training for the fleet management version of its Certificate of Management qualification is available at 70 centres.

• The DIY route to debt collection through the County and Small Claims Courts is explained in a half-day seminar on 30 June in Croydon, Surrey. This can be done in half the time and at a fraction of the cost without a solicitor, says the organiser, Credit Management Seminars. The seminars, run regularly, cost £75.
