Williams gets six new M-Bs
W. H. WILLIAMS of Spennymoor, Co. Durham, has added six new Mercedes-Benz 16-tonners to the two second-hand 1617s already operating within its 70-strong removals and haulage fleet.
The vehicles, which have 5.9m (19ft 4in) wheelbases, are fitted with 8.23m (27ft) curtain-sided bodies and are being used on a nationwide contracted delivery service for Thorn-EMI's production/distribution centre also at Spennymoor.
