LEEDS University is holding its tenth annual seminar on Public Transport Operators research from July 5-7, 1978, J. K. Isaac of the West Midlands PTE will read the first paper "Is there a role for operational research in the Bus Industry?"
Other papers will be presented by J. D. Carr of the Greater Glasgow PTE on "Transport for the social disadvantaged" and D. Hamilton of Durham County Council on "Research into the effect of bus fares on passenger demand and network viability."
