exhaust smoke is now produced under licence from Robert Bosch, by Dunedin Engineering Co., Ltd., Mortimer Street, London, W.I.
In use, exhaust samples are deposited on filter papers and the shading evaluated using the International Ringelmann scale. scale to indicate the air pressure in the tyre.
Two versions are available, one for pressures of 14 to 24 p.s.i., the other for 26 to 33 p.s.i. Both are If in. long and weigh f oz.
Price of the Pi-meter is 8s. 6d. each.
