Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

OME interesting matters arose at the usual monthly meeting of the Motor Omnibus Proprietors' Association, which was held recently in Neath. Three important decisions were made for extending the scope and importance of the organization, which, it may be noted, has now more than 70 affiliated companies.

In the first place, the rules were amended so as to •allow for operators having only one. stage carriage, who have -obtained road-service licences from the Traffic Commissioners, to become members. The object of this is to bring in a considerable number of smaller

gag operators, of whom many exist in South Wales. The executive committee of the association has been instructed to consider the drawing up of new rules, etc., with the object of organizing motorcoach owners into a section under the auspices of the association.

It has been decided to accept a seat on the management committee of the Motor Hirers' and Coach Services Asso ciation, the offices of which are at 72, Great Portland Street, London, W.1, the South Wales body to become affiliated to the London association.

The next meeting of the Motor Omnibus Proprietors' Association, the secretary of which, Mr. Clifford Thomas, has his office at Bristol House, Argoed, Mon., is to be held in June at Cardiff. This organization, which was formed as long ago as 1922, purchases petrol for its members on a co-operative basis, the contract amounting to nearly 4,000,000 gallons annually. Oil is bought in the same way, the annual requirements being about 120,000 gallons.
