SECURITY BOX • A secure box designed especially for pick-up trucks has been launched by Surreybased Hillyard Associates.
The lockable storage boxes are built of steel with two sprung-loaded lids each fitted with a car door-type lock. The boxes are bolted to the vehicles side rails, leaving access to the full length of the floor load area.
Hillyard claims the boxes fit most pick-ups including Land Rovers (except the high capacity pick-up), Nissan 1 tontine Mazda B1800/BS2000, Peugeot 504, Ford P100 Mitsubishi L200, Bedford KB, Daihatsu Fourtrak and Dacia 1 tonne. They can be basemounted on drop-side trucks and artic tractive units. The Hillyard Cross Bed Tool/ Security Box costs £196.00 plus VAT.
