A WARNING to lorry drivers of the risks involved in taking dogs and other pets with them on journeys to and from the Continent was given this week.

It came from the International Group Committee of the Road Haulage Association and follows a number of prosecutions in which heavy fines were imposed for breaking quarantine rules Chairman of the group, Mr G.
