Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A new design in demountables has been introduced by H. Clarke of Lutterworth, Leicestershire, makers of the Translift system. Although the entire metal parts of frame, walls and shutter are constructed of steel, the all-up weight, when compared with aluminium, is claimed to be only 3cwt more. This has been achieved by using a frameless construction for the walls, by spot-welding together the rolled channel sections of zinc-coated steel sheets.

Each join provides a rigid steel upright at 20in. intervals, giving. the 'makers claim, an extremely strong unit that can withstand misuse better than aluminium containers.

A further advantage is the saving in production costs which has enabled the company to offer a fully demountable unit of 20ft x 7ft 6in. x 81t high. for £90 less than its aluminium equivalent.

The new Translift demountable features a one-piece grp roof. The floor is tongued and grooved hardwood, and the roller shutter fully retracts for easier tail loading.

To meet the demand for a ready-made storage box facility, the unit is also being produced with lighter frame and floor at a much lower price. It comes complete with removable support legs for transporting purposes.

Translifts can be supplied to 7ft fin, or 8ft width and in any length of unit from 14ft to 24ft.

Recently the company has entered into the hire field with demountables, with several companies.
