AFTER reading two letters in CM regarding problems with the Bedford TL and TM, I feel it is about time your readers heard about the excellent service and reliability our Bedfords give us.
I am not saying that all Bedfords run completely trouble-free; anything that has wheels and an engine will wear out, and also if vehicles are overloaded or misused it does not help, but we believe in looking after our Bedfords, and they in turn look after us!
We run all Bedfords with Luton/box bodies. We have two 35cwt CFs, four TKs and a TL1000 (which is now one-yearold and has covered 30,000 miles): all are fitted with the 330 Diesel five-speed gearbox. They are all serviced by us every 6,000 miles.
We buy all our Bedfords from Shaw and Kilburn of Aylesbury, and our parts from their Luton branch, which runs a same-day delivery service. To our minds, Bedford is the best and British! E. & M. LINDSAY
