November's contribution to this figure was •£2,143,544, compared with £2,337,739 in October.

Figures issued by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders show that 5,134 units were sent overseas in November, and 53,551 frorn. January to November.

Exports of used commercial vehicles in the first 11 months of 1947 were valued at £2,515,176, and of agricultural tractors and parts at £4,459,679. The figures for November were £142,632 and £798,225 respectively.

AS from January 1, Austin Crompton Parkinson Electric Vehicles, Ltd., will undertake the marketing of Morrison-Electricar vehicles, in the .main through existing Austin dealers. The sales departrwnt of the new company will operate from Long-bridge headquarters of the Austin Motor Co., Ltd.

The conclusion of a partnership agreement between th Austin and Crompton Parkinson concerns was announced more than a year ago. The objects of their association were stated to be the Continuance and expansion of the business' of manufacturing and selling electric vehicles and industrial trucks, formerly carried on by Crompton Parkinson, Ltd., through its associated companies, A. E. Morrison and Sons, Ltd., and Electricars, Ltd.

£164,700 INCREASE IN PAY

nURING the 11 months from January J--.1..,to November last year, 468,000 transport workers received an increase in weekly wage's of £164,700, says the Ministry of Labour.
